Music lovers will understand that 8GB is nothing. The only reason I&#8217;ve managed for so long is because I don&#8217;t put full albums on my iPod, just my most favorite songs.<\/p>\n<p>Today, I&#8217;m shopping for a new iPod and ended up buying the new iPod Classic with a wapping 160GB capacity. That will last me forever.<\/p>\n<p>Apple has a neat little gift engraving option on the back for free so you could say something like: &#8220;<em>I love you.<\/em>&#8221; or &#8220;<em>Happy Birthday!<\/em>&#8220;, you get the idea. I found a much better use for this little feature:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/webguy.io\/blog\/images\/posts\/ipod-engrave.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" height=\"476\" width=\"982\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/webguy.io\/blog\/images\/posts\/ipod-engrave.jpg\" alt=\"iPod Engrave\" title=\"iPod Engrave\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I figure:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If you lose your iPod somewhere public you probably have maybe a 5% chance of getting it back.<\/li>\n<li>If you lose your iPod somewhere public and you have your contact info engraved on it, maybe you have a 15% better chance of getting it back.<\/li>\n<li>Of course, if it&#8217;s stolen, whether you have it engraved or not, probably a 0% chance of getting it back.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Anyway, just a geeky little tidbit I thought I would share.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I finally maxed out my puny 8GB iPod Nano.
