There are helpful examples for each field: Title, URL, Description, and Keywords. As long as you’re submitting quality websites and follow the guidelines to a T, you’ll have no problem getting in.

Tips & Warnings

If you have any trouble or questions about this how-to or find any errors, please comment and I’ll work to update and resolve the article so it’s more thorough and clear.

Be professional. When submitting your website, make sure to use correct grammar and spelling. Make sure you only submit 10 Keywords max (space separated), and keep them all lowercase.

To see if your website has been accepted, check back after a few days and search your Title or some of your Keywords to see if it was indexed. If your website is not accepted, consider that you just received a free review of your website and it’s clearly not up to par and could use some fixing up or a complete redesign. That’s how I look at it.

Do not double submit a website. Even if you made a spelling error or similar. I will correct those types of issues during the review process myself.

hengine.org is a human search engine that I created.
